Stir up some batter.

Cut a small “lid” in the top of big navel oranges.

Scoop out the insides, just like carving a pumpkin.

Eat the orange pulp,

Pour the cake batter into the gutted oranges, each about two-thirds
full.
6.
Put the “lids” back on the oranges, and wrap them in heavy foil, and
set them on the coals for about 20 minutes, turning them often.
